Abhaya Cakes Limited was registered in England and Wales in February 2026, but the recipes behind it took years longer to get right. Harikrishna started baking for friends and family functions long before the company existed — birthdays, naming ceremonies, the kind of cakes that needed to hold their shape through a long, hot afternoon and still taste like someone cared.
The name Abhaya means fearlessness. It's there in the build of a four-tier wedding cake that has to survive a car journey across London, and in saying yes to a flavour combination nobody else on the high street will attempt. Every cake leaving the SW20 studio carries that same nerve.
Today, the studio works directly with home celebrations, weddings and small businesses across London — kept deliberately small, so every order is still finished by hand.

Nothing sits in a display case. Every cake is baked against a confirmed brief, for a confirmed date — never speculative stock.
Tiers are engineered to travel and hold, not just to photograph well on the day they're built.
